Ringtones: for iPhone
Privacy Policy

Ringtones LLC · Last updated: October 21, 2026

Ringtones: for iPhone (“Ringtones” or “the app”) is published by Ringtones LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app collects, why, who receives it (including the AI service behind AI Studio), and the choices you have. You don’t need an account to use the app, and we don’t ask for your name or email address.

1. AI Studio: what is sent, and to whom

AI Studio asks first. The first time you open AI Studio, the app shows what will be sent and to whom. Nothing is sent until you tap Allow AI Studio. If you don’t, nothing is sent and the rest of the app keeps working.

FeatureWhat is sentWho receives itWhat happens to it
AI ringtonesThe style you pick and, if you type one, your idea for the tune or mood. Our AI servers (ringtones-ai.appholdings.org, run by us), which check your idea and make the ringtone, voice or wallpaper. When our servers are busy, they pass the request to Runware (Runware Ltd, United Kingdom), which runs the same kind of AI models. Runware then receives your idea or your words and the prompt our servers write from them.Your creations are stored on our servers so you can find them under “Mine”. Runware uses what it receives only to make your creation, does not use it to train AI models, and deletes the files it generates after a few days.
AI voicesThe voice, phrase, effect and background you pick, and the name or words you type.
AI wallpapersThe style you pick and, if you type one, your description.
RatingsThe stars you give a creation, and simple events such as “played” or “saved”.Our AI servers.Kept with the creation, so we can learn which styles people like best.

With each request the app also sends a random ID that it creates for AI Studio and the app’s version number. To prevent abuse and to apply daily limits, our servers keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address and the number of creations per day. AI Studio does not send your photos, contacts, recordings, location, Apple ID or advertising ID.

Ideas are checked before anything is made. AI Studio refuses nudity, hate, violence, real or famous people, brands, characters and famous songs, and it never copies a real person’s voice. Your creations are private to you: other users can’t see them. We don’t sell them, and we don’t use them for advertising. When you rate one of your AI ringtones or wallpapers 5 stars, we may use its idea and style to make a new ringtone or wallpaper of our own, with its own title, for the app’s ringtone or wallpaper lists; your own creation, your exact words and your ID are never shown to anyone, and ideas with names or other personal details are not used.

You can delete any creation in the app (Mine, then delete), which removes it from our servers. To delete everything AI Studio has kept for you, email us (see Contact below). More detail: AI Studio privacy.

2. Other information the app uses

Ringtones and wallpapers catalog

The app loads its ringtone and wallpaper catalog from our server (ringtones.appholdings.org). When a ringtone or wallpaper is shown, previewed or downloaded, the app tells our server which item it was and whether you have Pro. No device ID is sent with these counts. We use them to list the most popular items first.

Your own ringtones

Ringtones you make in the editor from your own music, videos or recordings are made on your phone and stay there. Downloaded and saved items are kept on your device until you delete them or the app.

Themes and widgets

Themes, icons and widget packs come from our themes server. The app sends it a random user ID for your install, so it can deliver the items you choose.

Purchases

Apple processes all payments. The app receives the details of your App Store purchases (product, dates, price, country and transaction IDs) to unlock Pro, and shares them with RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., subscription management), together with a random app user ID and Apple Search Ads attribution data. We never see your payment card details.

Our own app analytics

From version 3.1.1, each time the app starts it sends our analytics service (analytics2.appchair.com, run by us) a random ID that the app keeps on your device, your device’s identifier for vendors (IDFV, an ID Apple gives each app maker; it is not the advertising identifier), the app version, device model, iOS version, language, country and currency. It also sends Apple Search Ads attribution data and the details of your App Store purchases (product, dates, price and transaction IDs). Our analytics service also records the IP address each request comes from and details that our network provider, Cloudflare, derives from it: an approximate location (country, region, city, postal code, metro area, time zone and approximate coordinates), the name and network number of the internet provider, and technical details of the connection, such as the network protocol and encryption used. We use this information only to count installs, purchases and renewals and to see which of our ads bring paying users. It isn’t linked to your name or Apple ID, we don’t sell it, and we don’t use it to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Analytics and app services

3. Advertising and tracking

If you don’t have Pro, the app shows ads through AppLovin (AppLovin Corporation), which works with these ad networks: Google AdMob and Google Ad Manager (Google LLC), Meta Audience Network (Meta Platforms, Inc.), Amazon Publisher Services (Amazon.com, Inc.), InMobi, DT Exchange and AdColony (Digital Turbine, Inc.), ironSource (Unity Technologies) and Mintegral. They receive device information, your IP address and how you interact with ads, and they may use them to show ads and to measure them.

The app asks for permission to track (Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt). Only if you allow it can these partners receive your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) and use it for personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the app also asks for your consent to personalized ads, and you can change it later in the app’s Settings under Privacy Options.

4. Sharing

We share information only with the service providers named in this policy, so that they can run the features described here, and when the law requires it. We don’t sell your personal information for money. Some US state laws treat the use of advertising identifiers for personalized ads as a “sale” or “sharing”; you can stop that at any time by not allowing tracking, as described above. The privacy policies of these providers also apply, including those of Runware, Google, Meta, AppLovin, RevenueCat and Lokalise.

5. How long we keep information

6. Your choices and rights

You can use the app without AI Studio, turn off tracking, change your ad consent where offered, and delete the app at any time. Depending on where you live (for example in California, other US states, the EU or the UK), you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or limit some uses. Email us and we’ll answer within the time the law allows. Because the app has no accounts, please tell us roughly when you used the feature concerned, so we can find your information.

7. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information through AI Studio, email us and we’ll delete it.

8. Where information is processed

We and our providers may process information in the United States, the United Kingdom and other countries, as described in this policy and in the providers’ own policies.

9. Changes

We’ll update this page when the app’s data practices change, and change the date at the top.
